Michael Shin has extensive leadership experience in the insurance and financial sectors, currently serving as CEO Korea and CMO Asia at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since January 2012. Previously, Michael held multiple positions at New York Life Insurance Company, including EVP/CDO & CMO from May 2009 to December 2011, and served as SVP/Chief of Samsung Advisors at Samsung Life Insurance from November 2005 to May 2009. Michael's professional journey began at Prudential Financial, where a role as Managing Director was held from 1990 to 2005. Michael earned a BA in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison between 1980 and 1984.
