Sandy Thomson

Sandy Thomson has extensive experience in the insurance industry, currently serving as a Senior Underwriter at the Reinsurance Group of America since September 2005, specializing in the assessment of life and disability products from both medical and financial perspectives. Prior to this role, Sandy worked as an Executive Underwriter at Hannover Re from November 1998 to August 2005, focusing on medical and financial underwriting and delivering presentations to clients. Sandy began the career at Swiss Re, where from December 1985 to October 1998, responsibilities included coordinating and presenting training programs in underwriting and claims for clients from Africa, as well as managing internal underwriting standards. Sandy holds a Healthcare Diploma in Health Insurance from HIAA, an Underwriting Diploma in Life Underwriting from IAC, and a Nursing Diploma from BGA Nursing College.
