Steve van Wyk

Steve Van Wyk is an experienced executive and board member with a strong background in technology and operations management. Currently serving as a Non Executive Director at Scotiabank, Steve is also a Non Executive Board Member at Reinsurance Group of America, where Steve chairs the Cyber & Technology Sub Committee. As Chairman of the Board at BIAN Services GmbH since 2010, Steve has held significant leadership roles including Global CIO at HSBC and PNC, and Global CIO at ING. With earlier experience as Global Retail CIO/COO at Morgan Stanley, Steve has a proven track record in developing systems and infrastructure on a global scale. Steve earned a BA in Accounting and Business from the University of Central Iowa.
