Sunil Sharma, FIAI, FIAC.Act, is the Chief Executive Officer of Reinsurance Group of America (RGA) India. They bring over 32 years of global experience in life and health reinsurance and insurance across India, the US, the UK, Singapore, and other SEA markets. They previously served as President, Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer at Kotak Life (2020–2024), and held roles at ICICI Prudential Life, Genworth, Life Insurance Corporation of India, and Swiss Re. They served as President of the Institute of Actuaries of India (2018–2020) and as a Council Member of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (2021–2024); they are a Life Board member of the IFOA, UK, and Trustee of the IFOA Foundation (since 2023), and they completed a Harvard Business School program Driving Growth Through Innovation Management in 2016.
