Victor Chen

Victor Chen currently serves as Chief of Staff for Asia Pacific at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated, a position held since September 2022. Prior to this role, Victor held several key positions at PartnerRe, including Chief Actuary and Chief Operating Officer, overseeing life and health operations in Asia Pacific from June 2019 to September 2022. At MetLife, Victor was the lead actuary for the Internal Audit function in the Asia region from November 2015 to May 2019. Additionally, Victor led a team at Manulife as Associate Director in Risk Management, focusing on Model Risk Management from February 2014 to October 2015. Earlier in the career, Victor worked as an actuary at PBI Actuarial Consultants and as an actuarial analyst at Watson Wyatt Worldwide. Victor holds a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science and Business Administration from Simon Fraser University, obtained in 2007.
