Zen Lai

Zen Lai is a seasoned professional in the insurance industry with extensive experience in life and health claims. Currently serving as Director for Life & Health Claims in South East Asia at Reinsurance Group of America, Incorporated since April 2020, Zen previously held the position of Associate Director in the same field at RGA. Prior to this, Zen managed major claims at Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad from November 2015 to April 2020, where responsibilities included both managerial and deputy managerial roles. Experience at AIA from August 2012 to November 2015 involved leading a team focused on group medical, life major, and accident claims. Additionally, Zen began a career in claims assessment at Prudential Assurance Malaysia Berhad from June 2009 to July 2012. Zen holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the University of London and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tzu Chi University, along with a Fellow designation from the Life Management Institute (FLMI).
