Buck Polya

Buck Polya has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. Buck started their career in the United States Marine Corps as a 0321 from August 2003 to November 2007. After that, they worked as a Floorhand at Nabors Alaska Drilling from January 2008 to January 2009. Buck then joined Saxon Drilling as a Floorhand from May 2014 to October 2014. Later, they worked as a Project Engineer at Parker Drilling from January 2015 to September 2016. In 2017, they worked as a Construction Engineer at K2 Dronotics from July to December. From December 2017 to January 2020, they worked as a Structural Engineer at RGNext. After a brief break, they joined CNH Industrial as a Welding Engineer in February 2020 till April 2022. Currently, Buck Polya is working as a Structural Welding Engineer at RGNext starting from March 2022.

Buck Polya holds a Master of Engineering degree in Welding Engineering from The Ohio State University. Additionally, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Alaska Anchorage, having completed their studies between 2009 and 2014. In terms of certifications, Buck is a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), which they obtained from the American Welding Society in January 2019. Buck also possesses certifications in D.S.-1 Drill String Management from T.H. Hill, and IADC Well Control at the supervisory level from the API - American Petroleum Institute, although the specific dates of obtaining these certifications are not provided.
