Gerry Parker

Sr. Principal RF Engineer at RGNext

Gerry Parker has a diverse work experience in the field of RF engineering and aerospace. Gerry started their career as an RF Engineer at Nokia in 1995 and later worked at Uniden and Andrew Corporation as a Staff RF Engineer and RF Engineer IV, respectively.

In 2001, Gerry joined Navini Networks as a Senior RF Design Engineer, where they led projects and designed linear RF power amplifiers and RF transceivers. Gerry then moved to Rockwell Collins in 2004 as a Senior Electrical Engineer, serving as the primary technical interface to Boeing and Airbus for Weather Radar, TCAS, and Transponder projects.

Gerry transitioned to a role as a Principal Engineer at PAE in 2013, where they were responsible for telemetry ground station hardware for the Eastern Space and Missile Range. Gerry provided technical and operational services for launch and tracking space vehicle systems.

In 2016, Gerry became a Senior Installation Engineer at PAE, leading the installation of new generation telemetry digital receiver systems. Gerry also worked at Engineering Consultant as an RF Engineering and Aerospace Professional, providing consulting services in RF design, review, test, and system analysis.

Most recently, Gerry joined RGNext in 2020 as a Senior Principal RF Engineer, where they support Space Coast launch services. Their notable achievement includes redesigning and upgrading Eastern Range Telemetry antenna RF systems.

Additionally, Gerry co-founded Canaveral Tours in 2018, demonstrating their entrepreneurial spirit. Overall, their work experience showcases a strong background in RF engineering, project management, and technical leadership.

Gerry Parker has a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from The University of Texas at Arlington. Gerry also holds an Associate of Science (AS) in Electrical, Electronic and Communications Engineering Technology/Technician from Gulf Coast State College. In addition, they have obtained a National Master 100 NC certification from the U.S. Coast Guard in February 2018.
