Thomas Ste. Marie has a diverse work experience in the military and government sectors. Thomas is currently working as the Business Planning and Operations Manager at RGNext since October 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Field Representative to the Commander at the United States Central Command from September 2019 to September 2021. Thomas was the Vice Commander of the 45th Space Wing in the United States Air Force from June 2018 to September 2019. Thomas also held the position of Deputy Director, Office of Space Launch at the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) from July 2017 to June 2018. Thomas served as the Deputy Commander of the 45th Operations Group in the United States Air Force from July 2014 to August 2017. Prior to that, they were the Commander of the 2d Space Operations Squadron from July 2012 to July 2014. Thomas also held positions such as Director of Operations at the 1st Range Operations Squadron and Executive Officer at the Deputy Chief of Staff, Space & Cyber Operations, USAF. Thomas has a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College, where they received the NDIC Michael D. Kuszewski Award for the Most Outstanding Thesis on the Operations-Intelligence Partnership.

Thomas Ste. Marie has an education history that includes multiple degrees in various fields. In 1992, they attended the United States Air Force Academy and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management, General. Thomas then pursued further education at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical, and Astronautical/Space Engineering. Later, in 2007 to 2008, they attended the National Defense University, where they received a Master of Science degree in Military Strategic Intelligence.
