Austin Smith has worked in the field of sales and marketing since 2010. Theircareer began as a Marketing Rep at Marketing Werks in 2010, where they traveled across the country marketing Verizon phones at various event sites throughout the 2010 NFL Season. Austin also managed a team of three Reps as they traveled cross country, organizing and booking events, supplying team with necessary materials and instructions, traveling to meet and train team on site construction/execution and managing personal relationships between team members. In 2011, Smith began working as a Sales Assistant at Turner Broadcasting. In 2013, Smith moved to Big Ten Network as a Sales Planner. In 2014, they joined Thomson Reuters as an Assistant Account Manager, Digital Ad Sales, where they oversaw management of multiple territories in the Midwest including Detroit, St. Louis, Cleveland and Chicago. Theirduties included establishing and maintaining relationships, securing meetings with prospective and returning clients in these territories, negotiating deal structures and plans, and ensuring proper execution of campaigns. In 2015, Smith moved to Vitamin T as an Agency Account Executive. In 2017, they joined UPshow as a Senior Director of Enterprise Accounts, and then as a Director of Enterprise Accounts and Account Director. Most recently, in 2021, Smith joined Rheaply as a Sr. Enterprise Account Executive and an Enterprise Account Executive.

Austin Smith attended Central Michigan University from 2006 to 2007 and Michigan State University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism.
