Garry Cooper

Garry Cooper is the CEO, President, and Co-founder of Rheaply. Garry has over fifteen years of experience in the technology sector. Garry was previously the CEO of LongJump, a software company that was acquired by Salesforce in 2013. Garry then became a Managing Director at Emerson Collective, where they incubated and invested in early-stage companies. Garry is also a founding member of P33 Chicago, an organization that supports the development of the city's tech ecosystem. In 2018, Garry was an Attendee at Blackbox Connect 21, where they coordinated a drug discovery effort to find a disease-modifying therapeutic for Parkinson's disease. This project led to securing a US patent, several high profile peer-reviewed publications, and rounds of funding from federal agencies, non-profit organizations, and private investors. Garry has also been a Scholar at Google for Entrepreneurs and a Member of the Forbes Chicago Business Council.

Garry Cooper received a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Chemistry from Indiana University Bloomington. Garry then went on to receive a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Neuroscience from Northwestern University. After working in the field for a few years, they decided to go back to school to get a Certificate in Management for Scientists and Engineers from the Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Garry also completed an Executive education in Digital Excellence from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth.
