Rhys Thomson

Rhys Thomson is the Director at Rhelm, where they blend engineering and economics expertise to manage infrastructure and environmental projects. With a strong background in water resources and floodplain management, Rhys has directed significant design projects across the Asia Pacific, including highway and wharf infrastructure in various countries. Previously, Rhys served as Team Leader for Water Resources at Cardno, overseeing a multi-city team and leading key projects. They possess a passion for industry knowledge transfer and have contributed to research in Australian Rainfall and Runoff while engaging in capacity-building initiatives internationally. Rhys holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a Master’s in Commerce from UNSW.
