Tanja Mackenzie

Tanja Mackenzie is a Principal Environmental Scientist at Rhelm, bringing 15 years of experience in environmental science with a focus on Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Natural Resource Management (NRM). Tanja has specialized in coastal, estuary, and floodplain management studies and has worked across various Australian states and international locations. Their expertise includes managing multi-disciplinary teams for large environmental assessments, engaging with regulatory agencies, and developing Environmental Management Plans. Tanja is also involved in climate change adaptation research and was a contributing author to a guideline document on climate change planning for ports and inland waterways. Tanja holds a BSc in Marine Ecology from James Cook University and an MSc in Environmental Science from the University of Sydney.
