Rhino Connect is a non-profit organization established in 2016 and dedicated to the protection and long-term conservation of white and black rhinoceros populations in Southern Africa.

Our work focuses on real, operational conservation. Rhino Connect supports over 40 rhino custodian reserves, provides care for orphaned and injured rhinos, and contributes directly to veterinary, security, and habitat-management efforts where they are most needed. We operate and support a sanctuary environment that prioritizes animal welfare, long-term protection, and responsible conservation management.

In parallel, Rhino Connect is committed to education, research, and capacity building. Through our veterinary and conservation education programs, we work with universities, professionals, and students from around the world, reaching thousands of participants each year. These programs bridge theory and practice, exposing participants to the realities of modern wildlife conservation while supporting ongoing research and field operations.

We collaborate closely with conservation practitioners, veterinarians, researchers, private landowners, and institutional partners to ensure that funding, expertise, and action are aligned. Transparency, accountability, and measurable impact are central to how we work with donors and partners.

Rhino Connect exists to connect people, resources, and expertise to where they have the greatest impact — safeguarding rhinos today while building the structures needed to protect them for generations to come.
