Rhiza refers to a root structure. Rhiza Capital is intent on growing local economies and healthy communities, by connecting root capital, in the form of equity financing and patient debt, to impact ventures. Within Rhiza there are three investment funds, meeting the needs of a range of investor segments and financing options.

Rhiza Capital is an impact investment group of companies. We build impact portfolios guided by the values of our investors, partners and community. Our investments are directed toward Canadian local and social ventures that have a demonstrable intention to generate a measurable, beneficial social or environmental impact alongside a financial return.

Our latest Impact Investment product is the Impactful Term Deposit at Sunshine Coast Credit Union. Sunshine Coast and Rhiza Capital have teamed up to create a first of its kind Impactful Term Deposit. This is a rare opportunity to invest with impact AND have the piece of mind of a fully guaranteed deposit and ROI.
