Alex Ramirez

Alex Ramirez has over 20 years of work experience, starting with a role as a Senior Validation Engineer at Intel Corporation from 1998 to 2014. In this position, they developed software tools and tests for CPU macro-architecture validation and I/O controllers, with expertise in the x86/x87 instruction set and protected mode and x86_64 architecture.

Following their time at Intel, Ramirez joined Skycatch in 2014, where they held two roles. Firstly, as a Senior Software Engineer from 2014 to 2016, they contributed to the development of the Skycatch platform, which captures data using autonomous aerial robots. Secondly, as a Senior Production Manager from 2016 to 2022, they managed cross-discipline teams, external entities, and contractors to oversee the development and production of future hardware products. Their responsibilities included prototype testing and certification, managing the supply chain and product lifecycle, and deploying Skycatch technology to high-profile clients.

Most recently, Ramirez joined Rhombus Systems in 2022 as a Firmware Manager, where they are involved in firmware development and management.
