Omar Khan

Co-Founder and CTO at Rhombus Systems

Omar Khan has a long and varied work experience. Omar started their career in 2005 as a Customer Support Representative for Information Technology Services. That same year, Khan was also an Intern for Warner Bros. In 2007, Khan worked as an Embedded Software Engineer for Information Sciences Institute where they developed data transmission software for underwater acoustic modem and invented, designed and developed a self-learning resync algorithm. From 2009 to 2012, Khan worked for Cenzic as a Team Lead Security Intelligence team, and for NuAxis, LLC as a Sr. Software Engineer. Khan then worked for Mojave Networks (acquired by Sophos) as Chief Security Architect from 2012 to 2014. Finally, Khan is currently Co-Founder and CTO for Rhombus Systems, a position they have held since 2016.

Omar Khan received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 2007, following their enrollment in 2004. Omar then continued their studies at the University of Southern California, earning their Masters in Computer Science in 2008.
