Matthew Carpenter has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Matthew currently works as a Software Engineer at Rhythm Software since August 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Web development teaching assistant at Georgia Institute of Technology from February 2019 to June 2023, supporting an intensive MERN stack Bootcamp. Matthew also worked as a Solutions Analyst at Carters Inc. from July 2020 to August 2021, collaborating with internal business and external vendors to develop and implement store of future technologies.

Before joining Carters Inc., Matthew was a Full Stack Developer at NAVOMI from June 2019 to July 2020, responsible for designing and developing middleware and web-facing widgets. Matthew also gained valuable experience at Verizon, where they held multiple roles including Small/Medium Business Account Executive, Solutions Manager, Retail sales rep, and Customer Service Representative.

In addition, Matthew has pursued education and training in web development. Matthew attended Georgia Tech Coding Bootcamp as a Full Stack Web Developer student from August 2018 to February 2019. Prior to that, they completed General Assembly's Front End Web Development Course. Matthew's career journey began in the US Army, where they served as a MULTICHANNEL TRANSMISSION SYSTEMS OPERATOR-MAINTAINER (25Q) from October 2004 to July 2012.

Matthew Carpenter began their education at Neptune Senior High School, where they studied from 2001 to 2004. Following high school, Matthew attended Central Carolina Technical College from 2005 to 2006.

In 2014, Matthew enrolled in Strayer University and pursued a field of study in Information Systems. Matthew attended Strayer University for two years, until 2016. During the same year, Matthew also completed a Full Stack Web Development Certification program at freeCodeCamp.

In 2016, Matthew further enhanced their skills by attending General Assembly for a Front End Web Development course. Matthew obtained a certification as a Front End Web Developer from General Assembly in May 2016.

Continuing their educational journey, Matthew joined Georgia Institute of Technology in 2018, specializing in Full Stack Web Development. Matthew completed their studies at Georgia Institute of Technology in the same year.

In February 2020, Matthew acquired a Veeva Vault - Vault Administrator certification from Veeva Systems, further expanding their skill set.
