Cory Vick Baker

Cory Vick Baker has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on medical affairs, field medical, and sales. Cory is currently working as an Associate Director in the Field Medical Department at Rhythm Pharmaceuticals Inc. Prior to this, Cory held various roles including Associate Director of Medical Affairs at Amicus Therapeutics, Sr. Medical Science Liaison at AEGERION PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED, and Market Development Manager at Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. Cory also served as the Director of Regional Advocacy Engagement/Thought Leader Liaison at InterMune/Genentech, where they were responsible for thought leader development and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Before transitioning to the pharmaceutical industry, Cory worked as a science teacher and founder of the educational initiative STEM4US, which aims to inspire middle school students to pursue STEM careers. Cory began their career as a Medical Science Liaison and later became a Manager within the same role at Elan Pharmaceuticals. In these positions, they focused on scientific exchange, education of thought leaders, clinical studies, and strategic planning. Cory also received a Bachelor's degree in Science from Baylor University from 1986 to 1990. Additionally, they have a certification in Teacher 4-8 Science from the Texas State Board of Education.
