Mark de Leeuw is an experienced marketing professional currently serving as Executive Director International Marketing and General Manager for The Netherlands and Belgium at Rhythm Pharmaceuticals Inc. since August 2021. Prior to this role, Mark held various positions at AbbVie, including Business Unit Head for Rheumatology, and at GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH, where contributions included leadership of the respiratory portfolio and strategic marketing initiatives. Mark’s career began with a traineeship at AM-Pharma in 2005. Mark has achieved multiple marketing qualifications, including awards in digital marketing from IDM and a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, along with extensive training in GSK's marketing programs.
