Marek Jõela

Marek Jõela is an experienced professional in the IT and education sectors, currently serving as an Architect at the Estonian Information System Authority since July 2021. Previous roles include a Physics Teacher at Tallinna Nõmme Gümnaasium from September 2021 to June 2022, and various positions at Telia from October 2012 to June 2021, including IT Architect, System Analyst, and Test Manager. Additionally, Jõela held managerial positions at Swedbank Estonia from September 2005 to October 2012 and worked as a Project Manager and Software Engineer at Profit Software AS from May 1996 to September 2005. Early in the career, Jõela gained experience as a Computer Teacher at Eesti Majandusjuhtide Instituut from September 1994 to May 1996. Education was pursued at TalTech – Tallinn University of Technology.
