James Schaffer

James Schaffer is the VP of Product at Rialtic. He is an accomplished Product Management executive with a background in leading product management, operations, and design for early-stage healthcare startups. Prior to Rialtic, James worked in patient engagement, real-world data, and, most recently, healthcare compliance, using artificial intelligence to monitor patient privacy and safety.

James enjoys the frenetic nature of early-stage companies and has been part of multiple exits throughout his career. Before his time in healthcare, he worked within the online advertising industry and digital publishing, where he was an award-winning Creative Director in both print and digital media.

James lives in Baltimore, Maryland, and outside the office has a passion for stand up paddle boarding, collecting art, and coaching his son's soccer team.
