Matt Gorbett

Matt Gorbett is an experienced machine learning engineer currently serving as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Rialtic since 2025. Previously, they held roles as a Senior Data Scientist at USAA and as a Data Scientist at WageUp Inc. From 2015 to 2018, Matt worked as a Software Engineer at Progressive Insurance and as a Test Engineer at Westfield from 2013 to 2015. They have published research in various areas of deep learning, including quantization and federated learning, while pursuing a PhD in Computer Science at Colorado State University, in addition to a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
