Mads Bording has held several executive positions throughout their career. Mads started their career as a Management Trainee at GEA Group, where they developed an OEM spare part program and reported to the Executive Management. Mads then worked as an Investment Banking Specialist at Danske Bank Large Corporates & Institutions before joining Tiscali as a CI Exec. At Tiscali, their main focus was on building the largest backbone in Europe through organic growth and mergers and acquisitions.

In 2007, Mads became the CEO and Partner at Docia, a company that offered SaaS solutions to the construction industry. Mads played a key role in improving collaboration and was recognized as one of the top IT companies in Denmark.

Mads then joined RIB Software, where they held various positions, including CEO RIB Nordic & UK and CEO Europe International & Executive Board Member. RIB Software is a leading innovator in the engineering and construction industry, and Mads contributed to its growth and success by introducing new end-to-end solutions for construction companies globally.

In their most recent roles at RIB Software, Mads served as an Executive Board Member & Group CRO, overseeing strategy development, marketing, and partnerships. Mads also served as CSO & CMO, focusing on strategy development and execution, as well as marketing campaigns. Throughout their career, Mads has played a significant role in transforming the construction industry through the introduction of new technologies, methods, and thinking.

Mads Bording has a diverse education history. In 2005-2007, they obtained an M.Sc. in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Innovation & Business Development from Copenhagen Business School. Prior to that, in 1999-2001, they completed a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Finance from the same institution. Mads continued their executive education at various prestigious institutions, including Harvard Business School in 2011-2012 and Columbia Business School in 2013, specializing in Senior Management and Driving Strategic Impact, respectively. In 2014, they attended executive updates at HEC Paris and IE Business School, where they explored subjects such as Competitive Advantage and Positive Leadership & Development. Furthermore, they pursued an Executive MBA at Henley Business School from 2015 to 2018. Most recently, in 2018-2020, they attended the MIT Sloan School of Management, focusing on Artificial Intelligence in their Executive Program.
