Rolf Helmes

Rolf Helmes has extensive experience in the software industry, particularly in the enterprise software sector for utility customers. Rolf most recently served as the Chief Product Officer at RIB Software, where they were responsible for global product management and development. Prior to that, they held various roles at Siemens, including Portfolio Management, Head of Product Management at eMeter Corporation (a subsidiary of Siemens), and Head of Portfolio Management Digital Grid Software & Solutions. Rolf also served as a Sales Manager and Head of Business Development and Marketing for Smart Grid Applications at Siemens. Additionally, Rolf Helmes worked as a Senior Consultant at Siemens Management Consulting, where they supported strategic projects and managed modules in top management consulting projects.

Rolf Helmes earned a Master of Science degree in Physics from the Technical University of Munich from 1998 to 2004. Rolf then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the University of Cologne from 2004 to 2008. In addition, they spent a year at Imperial College London in 2002-2003, although the specific degree and field of study for this period are unknown.
