Mitchell Talbot

Mitchell Talbot is a Strategic Planning Engineer currently on secondment at BHP, where they support the strategic planning of non-process infrastructure for a mining project in South Australia. With prior experience as a Senior Consultant at Ricardo plc, Mitchell specialized in environmental and water-related projects for the mining and government sectors, developing comprehensive policies and managing assessments for significant projects. Mitchell began their career as a Site Contamination Officer at the South Australian Environment Protection Authority, where they led investigations and contributed to regulatory actions on contaminated sites. They hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering with First Class Honors from the University of Adelaide.
