Sumit Kapoor

Sumit Kapoor is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in project management and engineering within the industrial and energy sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at Richard Industrial Group since March 2019, Sumit has successfully led the execution of over $150 million in capital projects focused on renewable diesel unit revamps. Prior experience includes roles as Department Manager of Project Engineering at IHI E&C International Corporation, where oversight of a multi-billion dollar LNG project was critical, and Engineering Project Manager at Amec Foster Wheeler, leading engineering and procurement for large-scale ethylene revamp projects. Sumit's career also includes significant technical roles at KBR, Goodman Manufacturing, Dell, and Lexmark, complemented by advanced degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Wayne State University and Saurashtra University.
