Jochen Layer

Jochen Layer brings extensive experience in corporate fulfillment and logistics, currently serving as Vice President Corporate Fulfillment at Ricola since November 2006. Previously, Jochen held various leadership roles within Ricola, including Bereichsleiter Auftragsmanagement and Bereichsleiter Planung und Prozesse, overseeing critical aspects of the fulfillment process such as order processing, production planning, internal logistics, and external distribution. Prior to joining Ricola, Jochen worked at Valora AG, where responsibilities included leading logistics engineering and support as well as serving as Leiter Competence Center Logistic. Jochen’s career also features roles in consulting and project management across organizations such as Resco, Alego AG, and GMO, beginning with a foundation in engineering completed at Technische Universität Hamburg-Harburg and Universität Hamburg.
