Michael Boast

Michael Boast is a Chartered Building Surveyor currently serving as the Commercial Director at Gateley Smithers Purslow. With significant experience in domestic and commercial surveying services, they have excelled in areas such as insurance claims, defects diagnosis, and health and safety. Boast has been a dedicated member of the RICS APC Assessor team since 2017 and has been instrumental in growing teams of surveyors in the insurance and private sectors since being promoted to Midlands Regional Director in 2015. They hold a First Class BSc (Hons) in Building Surveying from The Nottingham Trent University, completed in 2008. Additionally, Boast is an active member of both the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and the British Damage Management Association.
