Prashant Kumar

Prashant Kumar has over 17 years of work experience. Prashant started their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer at People Interactive, where they worked on the company's flagship website Shaadi.com. In 2004, they moved to Sify as a System Administrator. In 2005, they joined GTL Limited as a Project Manager for Open Source Software, where they were involved in new business initiatives based on open source software. In 2007, they joined Orange Business Services as a Project Manager, where they were involved in new initiatives and pre-sales technical discussions with clients. In 2008, they moved to Personiva as a Project Manager. In 2009, they joined Glam Media as a Sr. Manager of Technology. In 2015, they moved to Mode Media Corporation as an Associate Director. In 2016, they joined Pharmarack Technologies Pvt Ltd as VP Engineering, where they were responsible for scaling up the product to handle high volume traffic on web and mobile platforms. In 2017, they moved to Packt as Head of Software Development. Currently, they are working at Ridecell as a Software Engineering Manager.

Prashant Kumar completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) in Computer Engineering from Indira Gandhi National Open University between 2003 and 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a HDSE in Software Engineering from APTECH between 1998 and 2000.
