Founded by David Wooldridge—internationally recognized master instructor and a lead developer of national canoeing programs—Ridge Wilderness has grown into one of BC’s most trusted paddling and outdoor education providers. With specialized expertise in Lake, River, Tripping, Big Canoe, Tandem, and Solo instruction, we’re uniquely equipped to help individuals, schools, and organizations get outside with confidence.

Our programs are delivered throughout BC & Alberta, with custom training available anywhere in Canada. Whether you're joining a weekly adventure, booking a private group experience, or hosting us at your location, we bring high-quality instruction to you. Our administrative home is in Abbotsford, and our team works across the region to support communities wherever they are.
