Daniel Shepherd

Daniel Shepherd is a seasoned cloud security engineer with extensive experience in cybersecurity and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Staff Cloud Security Engineer at Ridgeline since November 2023, Daniel previously held the position of Principal Software Engineer at Sophos from October 2021 to October 2023. As Co-Founder and CTO of ZibaSec, Inc. from January 2020 to January 2022, Daniel focused on leveraging cloud technology to enhance security and risk management. Daniel's role at MindPoint Group, LLC involved founding the Innovation, Research & Development program and leading engineering teams to deliver advanced cybersecurity solutions. With a Master's degree in Computer Science from Syracuse University and a BFA in Computer Art from Savannah College of Art and Design, Daniel demonstrates a strong educational foundation complemented by a robust history in engineering and incident response across various prestigious organizations.
