Matthew Waymire

Matthew Waymire has worked for a variety of companies since 2013. Matthew began their career at Google as a Visual Data Specialist II in 2013. In the same year, they also worked as a Water Quality Intern for the City of Ellensburg, where they measured flow rates, turbidity, and bacteria counts in several streams for the city, collected data to help support creek management activities by city officials, and presented research data at the Central Washington University Research Symposium. From 2015 to 2020, they worked at Recology as an Environmental Specialist and Data Quality Specialist. In 2020, they moved on to work at Snohomish County, WA as a Planner - Public Works. Most recently, they have been employed at Ridwell since 2021, where they hold the roles of Partnerships Program Manager and Diversion Manager - Partnerships.

Matthew Waymire graduated from Central Washington University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies. Prior to that, they attended Puyallup High School.
