Anna Soyk currently serves as Team Lead Consumer Safety and Dietary/Consumer Safety Expert at RIFCON GmbH since December 2020. Previously, Anna worked as a Research Scientist (Postdoc) at BASF from October 2018 to November 2020, focusing on Global Crop Protection and Delivery Optimization. Anna took parental leave from February 2016 to September 2018, during which time writing publications for scientific journals was a primary activity. From October 2009 to December 2015, Anna was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Heidelberg's Centre for Organismal Studies, coordinating projects, supervising students, and providing guidance in a multicultural research setting. Anna also contributed to fundamental research as a Scientific Associate at the same university and gained early experience as a Student Assistant at the Zentrum für Molekulare Biologie Heidelberg. Anna holds a PhD in Biology from Heidelberg University and a Diploma in Biology, with additional education from the University of Leeds through an Erasmus Exchange Programme.
