Heine Weitz

Heine Weitz is an experienced process engineer with a solid background in project management and process design across various industries. With foundational experience as an Engineer in Training at Highveld Steel and Vanadium Corporation, Weitz progressed to senior roles at multiple organizations, including Bateman Engineering Projects and SNC Lavalin, where responsibilities included managing process engineering activities and executing projects throughout their life cycles. As a Lead Process Engineer at Ex Mente and currently as a Senior Process Engineer at RIFT, Weitz focuses on optimizing processes and resource use, leveraging a wealth of knowledge from positions held in consulting and operational roles. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgical Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Pretoria, along with a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Management of Technology.
