Greg Passmore has over 20 years of professional experience in software engineering and product development. From 1998 to 2010, they worked as a Senior Software Architect at GemStone Systems and then as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at VMware. In 2005, they co-founded Public Press, a citizen journalism experiment, where neighbors reported on local news and shared information about local businesses and venues. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Founder of Celly, where they were responsible for product management, technical strategy, product development, business development, fundraising, and sales. In addition, they were involved in software development on all of Celly's platforms and infrastructure, including iOS, Android, backend, and web. In 2015, they became the Head Brewer and Partner at Back Pedal Brewing. In 2018, they founded Zebra, LLC and also worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Rigado.
Greg Passmore graduated from Merlo Station Natural Resources Science & Technology High School in 1999, having focused on life sciences, mathematics, and computer skills during their time there.
