Alysson Gold is the Director of Quantum Engineering at Rigetti Computing, where they develop scalable hardware for advanced quantum processors. Previously, they led a quantum engineering team focused on innovative scaling technology and served as a quantum engineer specializing in computational modeling of superconducting qubits. They also held various research positions across esteemed organizations, including NVIDIA, SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, and TRIUMF, where they contributed to projects involving parallel computing and RF cavity technologies. Alysson earned a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a BASc in Engineering Physics from The University of British Columbia. In their spare time, they enjoy running, cycling, and backcountry skiing.
