Andrew Bestwick is currently the VP of Quantum Architecture at Rigetti Computing, where they have been integral in scaling the company from a team of 10 to over 100 while developing advanced quantum systems. As an early hire, Andrew founded and led chip design and fabrication groups, overseeing the quantum processor roadmap and managing a team of engineers. Prior to Rigetti, they worked as an Associate Consultant at Bain & Company, focusing on strategy and efficiency in the semiconductor and financial services sectors. Andrew earned a PhD in Physics from Stanford University and an AB in Physics and Mathematics from Harvard University.
