Ben Scharmann

Ben Scharmann is currently a Senior Design Engineer at Rigetti Computing, where they focus on quantum computing. They previously served as a Quantum Engineer at the same company from 2020 to 2023. Ben gained valuable research experience as a researcher in physics at Wake Forest University, where they explored molecular-scale electronics and co-authored academic papers. They also pursued a Master's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology after earning their Bachelor of Science in Physics from Wake Forest University. Additionally, Ben has held various internships and volunteer positions that enhanced their skills in engineering, technology, and community engagement.
