Ganesh Ramachandran

Ganesh Ramachandran is a highly qualified technical leader with extensive experience in semiconductor processes, manufacturing, and hardware engineering. As Vice President of Engineering at Rigetti Computing from April 2018 to October 2020, Ganesh demonstrated a strong ability to improve yields, deliver new products, and scale products from development to production. Prior to this role, Ganesh served as Director of Engineering at Intel from September 2005 to April 2018, focusing on technology and process development for advanced nodes, with responsibilities in yield management and process optimization. Earlier experience includes a position as Research Scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology, where Ganesh led research on sub-10 nm devices, and a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Arizona State University, specializing in molecular electronics. Ganesh holds a Ph.D in Materials Science from Arizona State University and an M.S. in Physical Chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay.
