Josh Mutus is the Director of Quantum Materials at Rigetti Computing, where they research the next generation of materials for quantum computing. Prior to this role, Josh worked as a Quantum Electronics Engineer at Google from 2014 to 2021, where they focused on building a quantum computer. They also served as a Post Doctoral Fellow at UC Santa Barbara from 2012 to 2014, designing high-performance amplifiers for quantum systems. Josh earned their degree from the University of Alberta between 2006 and 2012.
