Mark Field

Mark Field is a Principal Engineer at Rigetti Computing, where they focus on building quantum computers. With a diverse background as an Applied Physicist, Electronic/Optical Engineer, and Materials Scientist, Mark has over two decades of experience in various fields including semiconductors, electronics, and optics. Mark's earlier roles included serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Fellow at the University of Cambridge, a Scientist at Symyx Technologies, and a Senior Scientist at Teledyne Scientific & Imaging. Mark earned a Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics from the University of Cambridge and has contributed to numerous innovative projects throughout their career.
