Steve Gensler

Steve Gensler is a technology manager with 20 years of experience in building engineering teams across various sectors, including optics, semiconductors, and nanotechnology. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Rigetti Computing, Gensler has a history of founding and developing teams that produce innovative products, such as quantum dot phosphors and MEMS devices. Previously, Gensler held leadership roles at multiple organizations, including Nanosys, where they established critical testing teams, and Elemental LED, where they expanded the company's patent portfolio significantly. Gensler's educational background includes pursuing a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Chicago.
