Michael Thomason currently serves as Company Secretary for the Queensland Renewable Energy Council, Health Consumers Queensland, and The Kooralbyn International School, as well as Corporate Governance Partner at Right Source, providing governance services for not-for-profits across Australia. Previous roles include Company Secretary at Lighthouse Disability and Assistant Company Secretary positions at RSL Queensland and RACQ, where tenure extended over nine years. Michael’s earlier experience includes key compliance and governance roles at Tesco PLC, Ingenious Media, and BBC Worldwide. Michael holds a B.Comm in Accounting and Finance from The University of Western Australia, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance from the Governance Institute of Australia, and completed the Company Directors Course at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
