David Cox

David Cox holds extensive experience in legal, compliance, and policy roles within the property sector. Currently serving as General Counsel and Legal and Compliance Director at Rightmove since November 2020, David previously held executive leadership positions, including Chief Executive Officer at Propertymark and Managing Director at the Association of Residential Letting Agents. Prior to these roles, David contributed to the National Landlords Association as a Senior Policy Officer, where responsibilities included representing the organization at governmental meetings and leading policy development on critical issues. Additional experience includes strategic advisory work at the International Union of Property Owners and a tenure as Parliamentary Adviser in the House of Commons. David's educational background comprises a BA Hons in Political Science from the University of Birmingham and legal studies at The University of Law.
