Mike Marnocha

Mike Marnocha has extensive work experience in various technology roles. Mike began their career as a Software Test Engineer Intern at Microsoft in 1999. After that, they worked as a Technical Consultant at Xpedior in 2000, where they contributed to the development of a large-scale website. In 2001, they became a Lead Technical Consultant at Agency.com, where they implemented a Sales and Marketing Portal using SharePoint Portal Server.

In 2002, Mike joined Robert Bosch as a Software Engineer and led the implementation of an Intranet taxonomy project. Mike then moved to Analysts International as a Senior Software Developer, where they led a team of 13 members and oversaw the organization, planning, delivery, and sales strategy for SharePoint projects.

In 2004, Mike joined Avanade as a Director within the Collaboration service line. Mike played a key role in supporting sales and delivery of collaboration solutions for customers and provided thought leadership and support to Avanade consultants on SharePoint.

In 2013, Mike became a Technology Director at Rightpoint, a Genpact company. In this role, they leveraged their deep understanding of customer, employee, and product experiences to transform how people, technology, and business interact.

In 2015, Mike joined Microsoft again, this time as a P-TSP (Partner Technology Solutions Professional) - Office 365 & CRM. Mike provided subject matter expertise to assist with Microsoft sales opportunities and created and assisted with deliverables such as technology briefings, product demonstrations, and technical follow-ups.

Throughout their career, Mike Marnocha has demonstrated expertise in enterprise search, KM, artificial intelligence, SharePoint, and collaboration solutions.

Mike Marnocha obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University, where they studied from 1995 to 1999. Additionally, they hold several certifications in different fields. Mike earned the Coveo Certified Platform Developer certification from Coveo in November 2022. In November 2019, they obtained the Sitecore® Experience Solution 9.2 Developer certification from Sitecore. Mike also received the 2019 Sitecore Technology MVP and 2018 Sitecore Technology MVP certifications from Sitecore in January 2019 and January 2018, respectively. Furthermore, they achieved the Sitecore® 9.0 Certified Platform Associate Developer certification from Sitecore in October 2018. Prior to that, in June 2017, they obtained the Coveo for Sitecore 4.0 Cloud Certified Developer certification from Coveo. Mike also holds various Microsoft certifications, including MS: Managing Microsoft Dynamics Implementations, MS: Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Deployment, MS: Microsoft Dynamics Customization and Configuration in CRM 2013, MS: Microsoft Dynamics Deployment in CRM 2013, and MS: Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 Applications, all obtained in June 2015. Mike earned the Sitecore CEP 7.0 Certified Professional Developer certification from Sitecore in August 2014. In April 2009, they achieved the MCTS: Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 (Exam 630) certification, followed by the MCTS: Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (Exam 631) certification in March 2009. Mike also holds the Microsoft Certified Solution Developer .NET (MCSD) certification, obtained in March 2005. Finally, they received the 2021 Sitecore Ambassador MVP certification from Sitecore in January 2021.
