Nikhil Zaware

Nikhil Zaware has a diverse work experience in the field of software development and SharePoint administration. Nikhil started their career at Vodafone as a Microsoft SharePoint Developer, where they were responsible for developing software using SharePoint 2010, SharePoint 2013, and Office 365. Their role involved requirement analysis, project costing, estimation, development, code reviews, automation of deployment process, SharePoint administration, and development of SharePoint Apps.

Nikhil then joined the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) as a Graduate Public Service Intern, where they worked as a Waiver Quality Program Assistant. Their responsibilities included generating reports from the State of Illinois Health & Family Services Department Medicaid Database, developing SQL queries for waivers, and developing and maintaining internal SharePoint sites.

Currently, Nikhil is working at Rightpoint as a Senior Software Developer. Nikhil previously held the position of Software Developer II, where they focused on advanced Cloud technologies such as Microsoft Azure, Office 365, .NET, SharePoint Development, web services, and software development. Nikhil primarily worked on SharePoint applications hosted in Azure, involving front-end and back-end development on a cloud platform.

Nikhil Zaware holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois System, which they obtained from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University (Pune vidyarthi grihas college of engineering) between 2010 and 2014. Nikhil also completed their HSC 12th from Progressive Education Societys Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune 411005 in 2010, and their SSC from H.A School in 2008.

In addition to their formal education, Nikhil Zaware has obtained various certifications. In October 2020, they received the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification from Microsoft. In September 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services, as well as the SharePoint Framework for Developers: 2 Authoring and Debugging Solutions certification and the JavaScript Essential Training certification from Lynda.com. In 2017, they were a Techgig Code gladiator finalist and achieved a national level rank of 180. Nikhil also received the Tech Champion award from Vodafone in 2015 and was among the top 10 code gladiators in Vodafone Shared Service India. Additionally, they obtained the IBM DB2 certification from IBM in December 2012.
