Cay Blomqvist has had extensive work experience in various software engineering roles. They started their career as a Trainee at Nokia Research Center in 2002 and worked there until 2004. In 2005, they worked as a Software Engineer at Elektroniikkakeskus Oy for a few months before moving on to Täffä Ab as an Allmän tekniker for a short period of time. Later that year, they joined Voimaradio Oy as a Software Engineer and stayed there until 2006. From 2007 to 2008, Cay worked as an Ohjelmistosuunnittelija at Comlink Software Oy. In 2008, Cay joined SKS Mechatronics Oy as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2012. Finally, they joined Rightware in 2012 as a Software Architect, where they are currently employed.
Cay Blomqvist has a strong educational background in the field of Computer Science. In 2010, Blomqvist earned a Bachelor of Science (Tech.) degree from Aalto University. The following year, in 2011, Blomqvist continued their studies at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (Tech.) degree, specializing in Computer Science.
