John Boström

John Boström has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. John is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Rightware since May 2022. Prior to that, they were a Test Automation Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space from October 2020 to May 2022. From October 2018 to October 2020, they worked as a DevOps Consultant at Eficode. John also worked as a Developer/Consultant at QTronic GmbH from September 2016 to September 2018. Furthermore, they have experience as a Master's Thesis Writer at Volvo Cars from February 2016 to July 2016. Before that, they interned at QTronic GmbH in 2015, where they worked on various automotive SiL setups. John also worked as a System Tester at ABB Robotics as a summer trainee in 2014. Additionally, they have experience as a Logistics Assistant at JobFlame Pohjanmaa Oy, a Sales Clerk at Karjaan Rauta Oy, and a Security Officer at G4S Security Services.

John Boström has a diverse education history in the field of automotive engineering and automation. John holds a Master of Science (Tech) degree in Automotive Engineering for Sustainable Mobility (referred to as "Master AESM") from both ISAT, which they attended from 2015 to 2016, and Université d'Orléans, where they studied from 2014 to 2015. Before pursuing their master's degrees, John obtained a Bachelor of Science (Tech.) in Automation and Systems Technology from Aalto University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. In their earlier years, John completed their A-level equivalent Finnish Matriculation Examination at Ekenäs gymnasium, from 2006 to 2009.

Aside from their formal education, John has also acquired additional certifications to enhance their professional skills. John holds a certification as a Professional Scrum Master I from Scrum.org, obtained in December 2022. John also obtained the ISTQB Certified Tester, Advanced Level - Test Automation Engineering certification from iSQI Group in December 2021. Furthermore, John is certified as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect by Google, which they obtained in January 2019.
