Anders Perner

Anders Perner is an intensivist and the current vice-chair of the Organisationen af Lægevidenskabelige Selskaber (LVS), dedicated to improving the care of critically ill patients through clinical research and education. They hold a position as a Professor in Intensive Care Medicine at the University of Copenhagen and Rigshospitalet, where they engage in both clinical practice and research. Anders has led significant trials, including the TRISS trial and the COVID STEROID trials, and has held leadership roles within the Scandinavian Critical Care Trials Group and the Centre for Research in Intensive Care. They earned both a Doctor of Medicine (MD) and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Copenhagen.
